This collection is made up numerous artworks that explore various ways of seeing and our relationship with nature. There is a sense of wonder involved in seeing; and each time we rediscover something new. These pieces transport us to a world of curiosity with abstractions and hints of recognisable shapes. The artist uses visuals that are derived from elements in nature, plant forms, colours of the oceans, textures of the granite rocks, seaweed silhouettes and the architecture of seashells all come together in this body of work. The re-appearance of palm trees reminds us to breath and dream, taking us to island locations and places we might wish to be. Donna observes the light between natural formations that create particular shapes and elements that establishes a beautiful rhythm between the elements.
